What did they need?
10 Downing Street asked us to repair several kitchen appliances, including a Siemens dishwasher and a Rangemaster dual fuel range cooker.
Before undertaking any work, we had to go through stringent background and security checks. There was airport-style security at the gate, we even had to get our van scanned before we could park it anywhere near the building. We were also asked to leave all our phones at the front of the house in pigeon holes.
What did we do?
To fix the broken items, we sent a team of highly trained Gas Safe registered engineers to do the work. Repairing the cooker involved replacing the fan motor assembly. And the dishwasher was returned to full working order by replacing the spray arms and unblocking the sump assembly. As we pride ourselves on a fast and efficient service, all the required repairs were completed on our first visit.
Upon leaving the building after a job well done, we bumped into a group of school children who started taking photos of us because they thought we might have been part of the PM’s team!
